Hello, my name is Jason Weaver, a wine enthusiast from College Station, Texas. I fell in love with Pinot Noir 2 years ago after my first bottle of Burgundy and have been fascinated ever since. This site began in June of 2008 as a project assignment for a web design class that eventually turned into a way to document my experiences exploring pinot noir.
The combination of working at a wine bistro - with over 400 wines on the list from every major wine region in the world - and begining a career in web design has taken the website to new levels of random chaotic rants and slivers of brilliant subjective opinion.
The site really is an ongoing project that serves as an experimental playground to test new web technologies but rest assured that focusing on good content is also a top priority. The goal is to create a unique perspective on bottles I drink and hopefully connect with fellow enthusiasts. You will see words from me here but occasionally my friends write cool stuff too.
